This year, MND New Zealand and Angel Street held the first ever Corporate Ice Bucket Challenge; a new initiative encouraging kiwi businesses to raise awareness of motor neurone disease.

As part of the challenge, nominees Calum Haslop (Go Bus Director), Murray Schnuriger (PwC Managing Partner) and Andrew Carpenter (TR Group Managing Director), fundraised in aid of MND New Zealand before attending Walk 2 D’Feet MND in Auckland at Mt Roskill Memorial Park, where they were each publicly drenched with a bucket of iced water!

Angel Street generously initiated the challenge by donating $5,000 to MND New Zealand to nominate each of the participants, kick-starting the trios fundraising efforts which to date have raised over $50,000!

Director of Angel Street, Marcus Gerbich came up with the idea, which a twist on the original social media ‘ALS Ice Bucket Challenge’.
