MND NZ comment: Jai Arrow’s 100th NRL game walkout

Over the weekend, many people tagged MND NZ in posts expressing disappointment at Sky Sport NZ's decision to cut away from Jai Arrow's 100th NRL game walkout.

Like many in our community, we were disappointed to see such a significant moment missed.

For people living with MND, their families and whānau, and those who have lost loved ones to this devastating disease, Jai's walkout represented far more than a sporting milestone. It was a rare and powerful moment of visibility for a community that often receives little public awareness.

We appreciate the apology Sky has issued and its acknowledgement of the significance of the moment and the impact on the MND community.
