13 December 2024
We are delighted to share the Summer issue of MND News with you, a twice-yearly publication by Motor Neurone Disease New Zealand designed to inform and inspire.
In this edition, read about Pamela Glading, who has been living with MND for 17 years, who shares how she continues to live a happy life but albeit in a slightly different way.
We also hear from MND NZ Research Advisor Dr Natalie Gauld, who recently travelled to Australia for an international MND research symposium, plus provides a very helpful assessment of some of 2024’s global MND research developments.
Be inspired by Ella Kahu's determination to treasure time and make every moment count, pictured in the header with her husband on a bucket list trip to Antarctica.
For us, the pages of the Summer MND News magazine demonstrates why our work to support you, the MND community, matters as much as ever. We are a small organisation, supporting a small community with big challenges.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us in our work over the past 12 months – whether you fundraised, made a donation, or volunteered at one of our events.
We couldn’t do what we do without your commitment and generosity. If you can, please consider making a donation so we can continue to provide these vital services.
Thank you for the role you play in this community and thank you for helping us to be there when time matters most.
Noho ora mai, we wish you and your whānau a safe festive season, and we hope the stories on these pages inspire you as much as they have us.
