Want to make a difference on MND New Zealand’s National Council?

mnd team

MND New Zealand supports people living with Motor Neurone Disease, their carers, families and whanau, and the Health Professionals who work with them throughout New Zealand.

We’re currently on the lookout for new members to join our National Council which meets five times a year to help govern and set the strategic direction for our small but highly motivated not-for-profit organisation.

People with experience in Finance, Communications and Human Resources are particularly needed, but if you’ve got ideas, energy and want to make a difference for people living with MND, we’re keen to hear from you.

Governance experience is not a must – out-going Vice President Anna Chalmers saying being a council representative for the past three years has given her excellent experience and insight into the governance process.

“I’ve loved being on Council. It’s a real opportunity to influence the strategy and direction of the organisation. MND New Zealand already had a fantastic support team working nationwide alongside people living with the disease, however over the last few years we’ve also increasing our advocacy role and support for research into MND here in New Zealand.”

To register your interest in becoming a Council Member or to find out more, please email by 30th September.

Our Vision – Together we provide the best quality support for those living with MND

Our Values – People first, Supportive, Professional, Honesty, Partnership
