Neil Young Fundraiser Poster

Join us for an unforgettable night of music and community at Ministry of Folk Presents: A Tribute to Neil Young! Taking place in the historic Auckland Guide Centre in Mt Eden, this special event will feature some of the finest alt-folk talent New Zealand has to offer, all coming together for an important cause—supporting people affected by motor neurone disease.

Motor neurone disease (MND) is a progressive neurological disease that each week leaves people locked in a failing body, unable to move, talk, and eventually breathe. It affects over 400 Kiwis and there's no cure or treatment.

With performances from a dozen incredible artists like Tweed, Sam Loveridge, Louis Jarlov & the Lonesome, and Eden Iris & Kim Halliday, you’ll experience Neil Young’s legendary songs in an intimate, nearly acoustic setting. The evening will feature two alternating stages for non-stop music and entertainment, ensuring that both audience members and musicians have an amazing time.

The venue is small, so make sure to secure your tickets quickly! All proceeds will go directly to supporting those living with Motor Neurone Disease, a cause close to many in our community.

Motor Neurone Disease NZ is the only charity focused on improving quality of life, funding research and campaigning for people affected by MND in NZ. The charity receives very little government funding to deliver its services, relying on the generosity of New Zealanders to provide support and contribute to research.
