Introducing our interim Chair – Natalie Thain

MND NZ

5 May 2021

Natalie Thain

Following the recent resignation of our Chair Greg Horton, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Natalie Thain as interim Chair to our AGM on 30th October.

Natalie brings considerable governance experience at board level in a range of organisations, including large private sector organisations; listed companies; local, central, and regional government agencies; non-profits; charitable trusts; and educational and health institutes.

She is currently a Director and Principal Consultant for Three Sixty Consulting Limited, a New Zealand professional services firm based in Christchurch, and a Governance Consultant with Mitchell Notley and Associates. She is also an Independent Director of Holly Lea Retirement Village, Mclean Institute (Charitable Trust), and Independent Director of Crusaders (GP) Ltd.

Greg left some big shoes to fill, contributing significantly to the organisation since he joined Council in late 2017, and as his time as Chair from late 2019. He will be greatly missed by everyone at MND New Zealand.

We are looking forward to having Natalie on-board to help us focus on our key priorities, plan for the next financial year, and prepare for the appointment of a new Chair later this year.
