The future of MND treatment in New Zealand: Best practice recommendations and beyond

Wednesday 6 September, 2023
7pm – 8pm

Comprehensive, multidisciplinary care is the current gold standard for treating MND. Motor Neurone Disease NZ recently facilitated the production of best practice guidelines for the care of people living with motor neurone disease.

Developed over a number of years by a working group of clinicians, this document represents what specialists in MND care agree should be the standard of care for any New Zealander diagnosed with MND.

In this webinar, Dr Alan Stanley will outline the principles behind providing the best possible care for people with MND, as well as exploring future avenues for MND treatment.

Please note, this webinar is aimed at health professionals and members of multidisciplinary teams (MDT) who care for patients with MND, but everyone is welcome to attend.

Join us on Wednesday 6 September from 7pm to 8pm and bring your questions for the interactive Q+A session.
