We’re thrilled to announce that registrations are now open for the 2025 Walk to Defeat MND!

This is always our biggest fundraising event of the year and crucial for ensuring we can continue our work.

But it’s about far more than just money: it’s an opportunity for us to come together as a community of people affected by MND, sharing support, solidarity and hope with each other.

This year’s walk takes place across the motu on 22 February. But if you can’t make that date, we’re offering an option for people to take part in a ‘virtual walk’.

Sign up now and join the Walk to Defeat MND in Auckland, Wellington, or Christchurch on 22 February 2025:

And if you can’t make it in person? Take part virtually from anywhere in the country – just registered here: https://mndwalk.org.nz/Virtual

Whether you’re walking with friends, whānau, colleagues or four legged furry friends, Walk to Defeat MND will be a great day. Funds raised from tickets will go towards our crucial work – and, as ever, people living with MND can take part for free.

Whether you’re walking in memory of someone special, to support a loved one, or to stand with our community, your involvement makes a real difference. Let’s make 2025’s Walk to Defeat MND the biggest one in years!

P.S. We’re accepting individuals, teams and organisations to Walk to Defeat MND – no matter how you want to do it, everyone who wants to help defeat MND can take part. Click here to register.
