Cuppa Tea for MND: our July MND Connect Group, with an Action Month twist
Awareness, Community, Living with MND
3 June 2026
Each month, we host an MND Connect Group at the MND NZ national office in Royal Oak — a relaxed, supportive space where people affected by motor neurone disease can connect, talk, and spend time with others who understand.
In July, to honour MND Action Month, we’re doing something a little different.
On Wednesday 01 July, our MND Connect Group will be combined with a special Cuppa Tea for MND, featuring special guests taking on the Ice Bucket Challenge. We invite you to grab a tea or coffee, enjoy some morning tea, and watch while mingling with others from across the MND community.
Cuppa Tea for MND is about connection and community. It’s a chance to share stories and feel less alone — whether you are living with MND, support someone who is, have lost a loved one, or work in health or community care.
You’ll also have the opportunity to meet the MND NZ team and connect with our Auckland support advisors in an informal, welcoming environment.
